The Tampa Bay Lightning are very likely going to be without one of their top forwards against the Ottawa Senators. While speaking with reporters, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper shared that forward Anthony Duclair is "definitely doubtful" for the contest due to a stomach bug.
Duclair was notably absent at Thursday's (April 11) team practice, and now we have the reason as to why. Thankfully, Duclair's issue is not injury-related, but it is still tough to hear that the skilled winger is dealing with an illness.
With the Lightning's playoff spot secure, there is certainly no need for them to rush back Duclair too quickly. As a result, hearing that he is doubtful for this matchup against the Sens is understandable.
Anthony DuclairIn 70 games this season, Duclair has 22 goals and 39 points. In 14 games since joining the Bolts, he has six goals and 12 points.
