    The Tampa Bay Lightning have placed defensemen Derrick Pouliot and Tobie Paquette-Bisson on waivers. 

    Pouliot, 30, signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Lightning during this off-season. In five games last season with the Dallas Stars, the 6-foot-1 defenseman had zero assists and a minus-1 rating. He spent the majority of the season with Dallas' affiliate, the Texas Stars, posting nine goals and 46 points in 64 games.

    Paquette-Bisson, 27, spent this past season down in the AHL with the Laval Rocket. In 69 games, he set new career highs with nine goals, 18 assists, and 27 points in 69 games. He has yet to play a game at the NHL level.
