This Lightning forward is heading back to the AHL.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have made a roster move, as they have reassigned forward Cole Koepke to the Syracuse Crunch.
Koepke, 25, was just recently recalled by the Lightning. He appeared in one game during this latest call-up on Feb. 22 against the Washington Capitals, where he had two shots in 5:59 of ice time.
Koepke has played in nine games this season with the Lightning in total, posting two assists to go along with an even plus/minus rating.

With Koepke returning to the Crunch, he will look to continue to be a key part of their forward group. In 36 games this season with the AHL squad, he has 13 goals to go along with 24 points.
