The Jets defeated the Canucks 4-2 the last time they visited Rogers Arena.

Two of the top teams in the NHL will go head to head on Saturday Night as the Vancouver Canucks (41-17-7) welcome the Winnipeg Jets (40-17-5). Winners of three straight, this will be the perfect opportunity for the Canucks to see how their team stacks up against a team they could face in the Western Conference Final. With a win, Vancouver would record their fourth 4+ game winning streak of the season while also becoming either the second or third team to hit the 90-point mark.

Multiple factors should help the Canucks in this game. The Jets will be the tired team as they played last night in Seattle and are expected to miss Gabriel Vilardi and newly acquired Tyler Toffoli. A battle between two of the league's top goaltenders, Vancouver, will need a full team effort to pull out the victory.

Players to Watch

Elias Lindholm

This is an excellent opportunity for Elias Lindholm to show just how valuable he can be to the lineup. While he has been strong in the faceoff dot, Lindholm only has one point in his last five games, which is problematic. With 26 points in 31 career games versus Winnipeg, this could be the night he breaks out and shows that he can be a scoring threat from the third line.

Mark Scheifele

Mark Scheifele has been a pain in the Canucks side for most of his career. The Jets center has 37 points in 34 career games versus Vancouver and put up a three-point performance the last time these two teams faced off. Whether at even strength or on the power play, he is a problem that Vancouver will need to find a way to neutralize if they want to finish the night with a win.
