A look at where some of the players from the Vancouver Canucks' 2015 playoff roster are today.

For the first since 2015, the Vancouver Canucks will play a playoff game at Rogers Arena. The last postseason game took place on April. 23, 2015, when the Canucks defeated the Calgary Flames 2-1 in Game 6 of the first round. While Vancouver did qualify for the postseason in 2020, the tournament took place in Edmonton without fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, almost nine years later, here is a look back at the last Canucks team to play a playoff game in Vancouver and where some of the players are now.

Daniel and Henrik Sedin
Since 2015, Daniel and Henrik Sedin have had their jerseys retired by the Canucks organization, been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and now work with Vancouver's development staff. Split between the AHL and NHL, they are key members of the Canucks organization, which includes helping younger players adapt and develop in Abbotsford. They also remain a large part of the community and have created the Sedin Family Foundation, which "will make annual gifts to programs that support children's health and education with a focus on family wellness in communities throughout the province of British Columbia."
Bo Horvat
A rookie in 2015, Bo Horvat grew into a leader and was named Vancouver's captain in 2019. He would play over 600 games before being dealt to the New York Islanders in 2023. Horvat recently played his 100th game as an Islander and is in the first year of an eight-year contract that sees him carry a cap hit of $8.5 million.
Chris Tanev
Since 2015, Tanev has developed into one of the most fearless defencemen in the NHL. He played over 500 games with the Canucks before signing with the Flames during the 2020 offseason and later being traded to the Dallas Stars at this year's trade deadline. A pending unrestricted free agent this summer, his story with Vancouver may not be entirely written as reports say Tanev is interested in returning to the Canucks next season.
Nick Bonino
Now 35, Nick Bonino is currently a free agent after having his contract terminated by the New York Rangers earlier this season. The multi-time Stanley Cup winner has played 868 games in his NHL career, which includes 75 with Vancouver during the 2014-15 season. One of two players to score in the last game at Rogers Arena, he has delivered some big playoff goals throughout his career.
Ronalds Ķēniņš
Over in Switzerland, Ronalds Ķēniņš has carved out a successful career in the NL. Currently playing for Lausanne HC, the now 33-year-old has played 485 career games in the NL while representing Latvia twice at the Olympics. While his time with the Canucks was short, he is remembered as a player who was never afraid to throw a hit or get under the opposition's skin.
Kevin Bieksa
Since retiring with the Anaheim Ducks in 2018, Kevin Bieksa has become a national celebrity for his work on Hockey Night In Canada. He can be seen during intermission coverage, where he isn't afraid to speak his mind or throw clever jabs at other intermission panel members. A beloved person in Vancouver, he signed a one-day contract back in 2022 so he could officially retire as a member of the Canucks.
Chris Higgins
Chris Higgins is another former player who currently works within Vancouver's organization. His official title is Assistant Director, Player Development, where he checks in with prospects and gives tips to young players in the organization on how to improve and develop properly. By the end of his career, Higgins had played over 300 games with the Canucks and was a key part of their run to the 2011 Stanley Cup Final.
Ryan Miller
The last goaltender to start a game at Rogers Arena was Ryan Miller. The future Hockey Hall of Famer is now retired and is working for the San Jose Sharks in multiple goaltending-related capacities. While he only played 150 games with Vancouver, he still sits eighth on the franchise's all-time wins list with 64.
Luca Sbisa
Luca Sbisa officially retired in 2021 after playing over 500 games at the NHL level. That included 199 with the Canucks before the Vegas Golden Knights selected him in the 2017 Expansion Draft. As for where he is now, he has found a job with the Sharks and works as a development coach within the organization.
Derek Dorsett
After retiring due to injury in 2019, Derek Dorsett has been working as a development coach with the Columbus Blue Jackets. He took the role in 2021 and works with both the Blue Jackets and their AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters. A player who was never afraid to drop the gloves, he played over 500 NHL games, including 184 with Vancouver.
