The Cyclone Taylor Trophy is given each year to the most valuable player on the Vancouver Canucks, as voted by the fans.
For the first time in his career, J.T. Miller has won the Cyclone Taylor Trophy given to the team's MVP as voted by the fans. Miller joins Elias Pettersson, Thatcher Demko, and Brock Boeser as the only active players on the Vancouver Canucks roster to take home the trophy. Miller also becomes just the fifth American to win the award, joining Demko, Boeser, Cory Schneider and Ryan Kesler.
Miller, who also took home the Pavel Bure Mose Exciting Player Award, is the team leader in points with 102. He is just the seventh player in franchise history to hit the 100-point mark in a season and is currently tied with Elias Pettersson for the seventh most points by a Canucks player in a season. Miller also became the second-fastest player in franchise history to 400 points earlier this season and currently sits with 401 points in 363 games.
