For the first time since Mar. 23, Elias Lindholm returns to the Vancouver Canucks lineup. Lindholm has missed the last seven games with an undisclosed injury and is set to play on a line with Phil Di Giuseppe and Ilya Mikheyev. The last time Lindholm played was against his former team, the Calgary Flames, where he scored an empty net goal eight for 11 in the faceoff dot.

Through 22 games so far with Vancouver, Lindholm has five goals and nine points. His main contributions have been on the penalty kill and in the faceoff dot, where he has a 60.4 win percentage on 288 draws. Lindholm has also been valuable in the defensive zone and has allowed Rick Tocchet more flexibility throughout his lineup.

In the seven games without Lindholm, the Canucks have struggled to pick up points. Vancouver has a record of 3-4, while their penalty kill is operating at 65.4%. The hope is Lindholm can help stabilize the Canucks penalty kill as well as Vancouver's overall defensive play as they continue to prepare for the postseason.
