The Golden Knights and Oilers are playing their third and final meeting of the season. They've split the season series but the Golden Knights have picked up three points with a 5-4 shootout loss.
McDavid has two goals and four points against the Golden Knights this season and 31 goals and 130 points in 74 games.
As it stands, the Golden Knights trail the Los Angeles Kings by one point for third place in the Pacific Division. With a win the Golden Knights would pass the Kings.
The Golden Knights can also clinch a playoff spot if they win tonight and the St. Louis Blues lose to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Adin Hill will return tonight and Chandler Stephenson will be out of the lineup for the Golden Knights.
