Chandler Stephenson tallied four assists as the Vegas Golden Knights sealed a spot in the 2024 NHL Playoffs with a 7-2 victory against the Minnesota WIld on Friday at T-Mobile Arena.

Jack Eichel, Nicolas Roy and Pavel Dorofeyev all had a goal and an assist. Tomas Hertl scored his first goal as a Golden Knight, while William Karlsson and Keegan Kolesar also scored. Jonathan Marchessault also added his team-leading 42nd goal of the season.

Logan Thompson made 25 saves in the win.

“There's no doubt this is something they want to do. They want an opportunity to repeat as Stanley Cup champions,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “So I think the process of getting here had some ups and downs this year. I mean, we're all dealing with, you know, what's the appropriate way to go about our business throughout the year and set ourselves up.”
