Maple Leafs score four goals in the first period, hold on to earn sixth win in a row.

The Vegas Golden Knights saw their home losing streak extend to four games after a 7-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs at T-Mobile Arena on Thursday.
William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, and Michael Amadio all scored. Adin Hill made 17 saves but was pulled at the 14:20 of the first period after surrounding the third goal. Logan Thompson made 19 saves in relief.
The Golden Knights were done in by a poor first period, where they allowed four goals.
“The big emphasis is the first period. I mean, you got some guys who can score right?” Vegas defenseman Alex Pietrangelo said. “So you got to defend those guys as a group of five, I thought we got a little bit disconnected defensively, so we just need to be better as a whole defensively, especially this last stretch here.”
Vegas returns to the ice on Saturday, beginning a five-game road trip at Ottawa against the Senators.
