Wild come in having won six of their last 10 against streaking Golden Knights.

The Vegas Golden Knights host the Minnesota Wild 7 p.m. tonight at T-Mobile Arena.

The Wild enter Las Vegas 23-23-5 and have won six of their last 10, including two in a row and their last three on the road.

“They've been up and down inconsistent. They struggled, and then they got hot. Then they struggle. Now they're getting it back a little bit,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “I know John Hines’ team will always compete. I saw it in New Jersey. I saw it in the American Hockey League when we were younger. I saw in in Nashville, so I’m sure there'll be physical which I think they've always had a little bit of that to their game. A little straightforward. You know, hard nosed hockey. So that's what we expect tonight.”

Alex Pietrangelo is set to play in his 1,000th NHL career game and will be honored prior to the puck drop.

Logan Thompson is out with an illness, meaning Jiri Patera will serve as Adin Hill’s backup. There is also a chance that other Golden Knights might miss action due to illness that has been going around the room.

Sheldon Rempal has been called up from Henderson as well.
