Chandler Stephenson scored the lone goal for the Vegas Golden Knights in a 3-1 loss to Calgary Flames on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena.

Logan Thompson made 23 saves for Vegas. The Golden Knights fell to 24-13-5, and will return to the ice Monday for a matinee game against the Nashville Predators.

“You don’t want to lose hockey games. It’s frustrating,” Vegas defenseman Zach Whitecloud said. “You’re not going to sit there and tell yourself the good reasons why you lost or the things you could have done better. You got to look at those no matter if you win or lose. Taking with that, we did some good things, obviously. But you can’t sit here and pat yourself on the back and tell yourself that you played good enough to win.”

Check back tomorrow for more from the game.
