The Vegas Golden Knights have recalled goaltender Jiri Patera from the Henderson Silver Knights after Adin Hill was injured against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Adin Hill exited last night's game against the Blue Jackets with an injury and will not travel with the team to start the four-game road trip according to Elliotte Friedman.
Patera has played five games this season and just seven games in his career. This season he posted a 1-3-0 record with a .901SV% and a 3.75GAA.
In his time with the Silver Knights this season, he's 10-10-0 in 24 games. The 25-year-old Czech goaltender has a .902SV% and a 3.04GAA.
The Golden Knights are about to begin a four-game road trip where they play the St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators, Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild. The Golden Knights play a back-to-back against the Blues and Predators. If Hill is unavailable for the game against the Predators, the Golden Knights may have to rely on Patera.
The upcoming schedule is tough and all four times fighting for either a playoff spot or for home-ice advantage in the playoffs. Logan Thompson has stepped up his game and will need to continue his strong play as of late.
