The Vegas Golden Knights have named Logan Thompson the Game 1 starter against the Dallas Stars.
Thompson is heading into the playoffs playing better than Adin Hill so it's not much of a surprise.
The Stars score a lot of goals and generate a lot of chances. They shot at a high percentage as well so Thompson will need to be dialled in from the second the puck drops.
The 27-year-old has a 25-15-6 record this season with a 2.70GAA and a .908SV%. The Golden Knights will need him to continue to play confidently.
Puck drop is tonight at 6:30 P.M. at the American Airlines Center.
