The 20-year-old finished fourth in USHL scoring last season, and will provide a big boost to London's top six.

Now that the off-season is fully upon us, OHL teams are taking steps at bolstering their rosters ahead of the upcoming season.

The London Knights announced a huge signing on Thursday, adding American forward Thomas Zocco to their roster.

Zocco, 20, will fill one of the team's three overage spots next season. He played his 2025-26 campaign with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL, winning the Clark Cup as the team's leading scorer.

In 60 regular season games, the Staten Island, NY, native recorded 70 (22+48) points. He added 13 points in 14 playoff contests to cap off a massively successful USHL campaign.

In London, Zocco should instantly become an important player in the team's top six, playing alongside guys like Jaxon Cover, Ryan Brown, Cohen Bidgood and potentially Braidy Wassilyn if he decides to push his NCAA commitment back a year.

It was a "down" year for the Knights, one where they still finished in the top four of the Eastern conference, but ultimately didn't have the horses in the first stage of a retool, falling to the Soo Greyhounds in the first round of the playoffs.

Zocco was originally committed to play collegiately at Merrimack College in 2026-27 but has wiped all information about that from his socials, so it's possible he'll choose another place to play in the NCAA following his one year in the OHL.
