The 2025 12th overall pick will join UMich this fall, departing the Windsor Spitfires.
The Windsor Spitfires have been hit as hard as anyone in this year's round of NCAA commitments.
From Ethan Belchetz, to Cole Davis, to Carson Woodall, the Spits are losing a lot of talent that would normally be back on their team.
The next on that list is another one of their leading scorers, Jack Nesbitt. The Phildalphia Flyers' 12th overall pick in the 2025 NHL draft confirmed via his Instagram Thursday he'll be headed to the University of Michigan for the 2026-27 season.

After learning the league as a rookie in a depth role, the 6-foot-5 centre really took off in his sophomore year, scoring at a point-per-game pace which saw him vault up NHL draft boards due to his combination of size and ability in and around the goal crease.
The Flyers liked him enough to trade up and take him with a lottery pick, their second pick of the 2025 first round after former Brampton Steelhead Porter Martone.
Nesbitt has also featured for Canada internationally, winning gold at both the U17 and U18 levels.
Now, the Sarnia native will head to a powerhouse Michigan program that will certainly have national title aspirations next season, hosting a good amount of current and former OHL players such as Jack Ivankovic, Kieren Dervin, Henry Mews and more.
