Another NTDP player is leaving for the OHL, with Milojevic joining Saginaw.

Another day, another U.S. National Team Development Program player joining the CHL.

Thursday's signing is Alexander Milojevic signing with Saginaw, adding another American to the Spirit's roster.

Milojevic, 16, had 15 (8+7) points in 47 games last season with the NTDP's U17s, and also got into a single game with the U18 program.

The Chicago native was a fourth-round pick of Saginaw in the 2025 OHL draft, as the team took a shot on a big-time U.S. junior scorer in the hopes they could sign him down the road.

Milojevic played as a youth with the Florida Alliance 14U and Chicago Mission 15U programs, where he was a top scorer and star on each of those rosters, amassing 100 points in both seasons.

That got him a spot with the NTDP, where the 6-foot forward served more as a depth forward, but still contributed an alright amount.

Now, the Spirit's gamble of drafting Milojevic has paid off, as the American forward will join the OHL side ahead of his draft year. A strong season with a good development program like Saginaw could see him get selected at some point in next year's NHL draft.

Milojevic is currently not committed to any NCAA program, but good play with the Spirit will surely see college teams look in his direction as well.
