Three games went to overtime, and a fourth was won with seconds left in regulation on a crazy Tuesday of playoff action.

Tuesday's QMJHL playoff action saw a full slate, with all eight series entering game three.

There was an overtime explosion, with three games needing an extra frame to decide a winner, and that doesn't even take into account the craziness of the Charlottetown-Quebec matchup.

Here's all the action from a crazy night across the league:

Rouyn-Noranda (6) - Gatineau (5) (OT)

A back and forth affair saw this one tied at two after one, tied at four after two, and tied at five after three, thanks to a late Eliot Ogonowski equalizer with just 38 seconds left on the clock.

Rouyn-Noranda similarly left it late in overtime, with Thomas Verdon playing hero, scoring with 27 seconds left in the extra frame.

This win puts the top-seeded Huskies one win away from the series sweep, as Gatineau will have to battle on Wednesday with their playoff hopes on the line.

Charlottetown (3) - Quebec (4)

Despite all the overtimes, the craziest game of the night (barely) ended in regulation time.

With the score knotted at 2-2 with 1:12 to go in the third, Cal Uens fired a shot from the blue line past Donald Hickey to give the Remparts a key lead. But then, Marcus Kearsey equalized again with just 16 seconds to go.

A Dylan MacKinnon delay of game penalty with nine seconds left put Quebec on the power play, and with under two seconds to go, it was Uens again who scored off the faceoff to give his team a wild victory, and a 2-1 series lead.

Blainville-Boisbriand (4) - Victoriaville (3) (OT)

The Tigres battled back from 3-1 down to force overtime in this one, a lower-scoring affair than the first two games in this series.

It had to be star man Justin Carbonneau to put the game to bed in overtime, scoring his second of the postseason.

While Victoriaville has fought hard against a strong Armada team, they'll be up against the wall in an elimination game Wednesday, trying to avoid the sweep.

Drummondville (4) - Val-d'Or (3) (OT)

The other overtime game from Tuesday, a big third period from Val-d'Or forced an overtime with a chance to take a surprising 3-0 series lead over the favoured Voltigeurs.

It wasn't to be though, as Dylan Dumont completed a hat trick with a massive overtime winner to get Drummondville back into this series.

The road team has won every game in this matchup thus far, and the Volts will be hoping that trend continues on Wednesday's game four as they look to even the series.

Moncton (6) - Saint John (0)

This one was a convincing Wildcats victory that started right from the opening whistle, as Kuzma Voronin scored just nine seconds in.

Moncton would score five more, but that early opener would stand as the game-winner for this one. Rudy Guimond stopped all 22 shots he faced for the shutout.

Like the other three bottom seeds, the Sea Dogs will be also up against the sweep on Wednesday night.

Chicoutimi (6) - Halifax (1)

Just as their fellow Eastern conference powerhouses in Moncton did, Chicoutimi scored six in a big game three win.

Emmanuel Vermette had a big night, scoring a hat trick in the win. Emile Guite, Maxim Masse and Alex Huang had three points each, while Lucas Beckman had a pretty easy night, facing just 17 shots.

The Mooseheads are up against elimination Wednesday.

Newfoundland (4) - Cape Breton (2)

No Sharkey, no problem for the Regiment as they won game three without their suspended star. Meanwhile, Cape Breton missed the injured Eliot L'Italien in the loss.

Louis-Antoine Denault was big in this game, stopping 33 of 35 shots as Newfoundland skated away to their first lead of the series.

Shawinigan (2) - Sherbrooke (1)

After the teams traded second period goals, Olivier Charron scored late in the third in this one to give Shawinigan a lifeline in the series.

This is another one where the road team has won every game, and the Cataractes will look to continue that trend in order to level the series Wednesday.
