The Drummondville Voltigeurs are still battling for seeding atop the QMJHL's Western conference, and had a tricky trip down to Quebec City to try and take the points lead in the conference.

It took until 19:33 of the opening frame to find the game's first goal, with Louis-Felix Bourque giving the visitors the lead just before the teams headed to the locker room.

Drummondville took that momentum into the second, where David Bosson and Maxime Lafond extending the lead to a seemingly comfortable 3-0.

But, Quebec wouldn't go away in the third. Nathan Quinn's 29th of the year on the power play got the hosts going, and Cal Uens got them within one with just over three minutes to play.

But, the Voltigeurs held on, and a Maxime-Olivier Drolet empty netter sealed a big win for the visitors, putting them first in the conference heading into week 23.

Jan Larys made 37 saves on 39 shots to take home the win, including some big ones in the third where the Remparts outshot the Volts 16-5.
