Three of the four series played Game 2 on Saturday night.

The second round of the 2024 WHL Playoffs continued on Saturday with six teams in action. All three winning teams dominated, with each game being separated by a five-goal differential. Here is a look back at all the action from April 13.

Prince George Cougars 5, Kelowna Rockets 0
Series: Prince George Leads 2-0

For the second straight game, the Prince George Cougars shut out the Kelowna Rockets, this time by a score of 5-0. Joshua Ravensbergen made 16 saves for his second consecutive shutout, while Riley Heidt and Koehn Ziemmer led the way with two points each. The series now shifts to Kelowna, where the Rockets will attempt to beat the Cougars for the first time since January 13.

Portland Winterhawks 6, Everett Silvertips 1
Series: Portland Leads 2-0

Over in Portland, the Winterhawks once again put on a dominating performance, defeating the Everett Silvertips 6-1. Nate Danielson once again was a star, finishing the night with a goal and two assists, while Kyle Chyzowski continued his hot start to the series with two goals. If Everett wants to find a way back into this series, they will need to find a way to shut down Portland's power play, which, for the second straight game, found the back of the net multiple times. 

Moose Jaw Warriors 7, Swift Current 2
Series: Tied 1-1

The Moose Jaw Warriors got revenge in a big way, defeating the Swift Current Broncos 7-2 and evening up their series. It was a night to remember for Brayden Yager, who had a hat trick and two assists, as well as Denton Mateychuk, who finished the night with a goal and five assists. With the first two games each finishing with a 7-2 scoreline, it is safe to assume this will be a high-scoring series that looks destined to go the distance.
