Thursday night saw only one game in the WHL as the Moose Jaw Warriors punched their ticket to the second round. Moose Jaw became the fourth team to sweep their first-round series, joining the Swift Current Broncos, Portland Winterhawks and Prince George Cougars. Here is a recap of Game 4 between the Warriors and Brandon Wheat Kings.

The Moose Jaw Warriors wrapped up their first-round series against the Brandon Wheat Kings in style, defeating their division rivals 6-2 in Game 4. All sixth of Moose Jaw's goal scorers also recorded an assist, including Lynden Lakovic, whose first-period tallie served as the series winner. Moose Jaw is now projected to face the Swift Current Broncos in the second round, with the Warriors having home-ice advantage as a result of teams being reseeded based on points after the first round.
