The Prince Albert Raiders made a loud statement on Wednesday night. After a tight defensive battle in Game 3, the floodgates opened in Game 4 as the Raiders secured a 6-3 victory to pull the series level.
The Raiders' power play, which had been uncharacteristically quiet, finally ignited. Daxon Rudolph struck on the man advantage, giving PA an early 1-0 lead. Evan Smith would then extend the Raiders lead in the first to 2-0.
In the second, Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll found the back of the net for the Tigers, cutting the lead to one. But Rudolph struck again on the powerplay, for his second of the night to make it 3-1. From there, the Raiders took over, picking up two more quick goals to finish the period.
The Raiders would continue to hang on for a crucial victory. Max Heise would get the game winner.
With the series shifting back to the Art Hauser Centre, the Raiders have all the momentum.
