Prince Albert Raiders 4, Red Deer Rebels 3 (OT)
Prince Albert Wins Series 4-1
The Prince Albert Raiders have punched their ticket to the second round following a thrilling overtime victory over the Red Deer Rebels. After the Rebels fought back to tie the game in the third, the Raiders' veteran composure took over in the extra frame. Daxon Rudolph continued his hot playoff start with a standout performance, helping the Raiders secure their fourth win of the series and eliminate the Rebels in five games.
Penticton Vees 6, Seattle Thunderbirds 3
Penticton Wins Series 4-1
The WHL's newest franchise has earned its first-ever playoff series victory, taking down the Seattle Thunderbirds in Game 5. Louis Wehmann led the charge with two goals. New York Islanders prospect Jacob Kvasnicka was equally dominant, netting two goals of his own.
Saskatoon Blades 4, Edmonton Oil Kings 2
Saskatoon Leads Series 3-2
The Saskatoon Blades have regained control of their first-round series after a disciplined Game 5 win at home. Despite a push from the Oil Kings to keep the series close, the Blades utilized their depth scoring to pull ahead in the final frame. With this victory, Saskatoon now heads back to Edmonton with a chance to close out the series in Game 6 and avoid a winner-take-all scenario.
