The WHL announced the 2025-26 finalists for the Brad Hornung Memorial Trophy, presented annually to the WHL’s Most Sportsmanlike Player.
Eastern Conference
Forward, Jordan Gavin, Brandon Wheat Kings
The 19-year-old registered 58 points (16G, 42A) while incurring just six penalty minutes in 68 games.
Forward, Braeden Cootes, Prince Albert Raiders
In 28 games after being acquired at the trade deadline, he recorded 40 points (14G, 26A) and six penalty minutes.
Forward, Markus Ruck, Medicine Hat Tigers
Ruck captured the WHL Scoring Title with 108 points (21G, 87A ) and tallied 28 penalty minutes.
Western Conference
Forward, Matias Vanhanen, Everett Silvertips
Vanhanen recorded 87 points (21G, 66A) in 62 games. He finished the season with a staggering six penalty minutes, leading all top-10 scorers.
Forward, Ryden Evers, Penticton Vees
Evers notched 74 points (35G, 39A) and a +29 rating in 67 games while being assessed only 12 penalty minutes.
Forward, Alex Weiermair, Portland Winterhawks
Weirmaier tallied a 93-point season (37G, 56A) and totalled just 28 penalty minutes in 66 games.
