A deep dive into the St. Louis Blues' WHL prospect pool.
Welcome to this edition of the 2026 WHL Prospect Pools. Throughout the 2026 off-season, we will be looking at current or recently graduated WHLers who have been drafted or signed by NHL clubs. Today's organization is the St. Louis Blues.
The Blues had two prospects who played in the WHL last season. One was a forward for the Edmonton Oil Kings, while the other played defenceman for the Spokane Chiefs. Here is a look at the two prospects.
Starting with Adam Jecho, he wrapped up his WHL career in 2025-26. Drafted 95th overall in 2024, the forward from Czechia recorded 36 points in 47 games. Jecho is set to join the AHL next year, where he will play for the Springfield Thunderbirds.
As for William McIsaac, he also wrapped up his WHL career. Drafted 145th overall in 2024, the 20-year-old defender recorded 109 points over 270 career regular-season games. McIsaac will be headed to the NCAA to play for the University of Connecticut.
