The Penticton Vees are 36-12-4-4 this season.

The Penticton Vees have entered the WHL record book. With their win on Saturday, the Vees set the WHL record for most wins by an expansion team. The original record was held by the 2003-04 Everett Silvertips, who finished that year with 35 wins.

Penticton's 36th win of the campaign came against the Regina Pats. The Vees opened up a 6-0 lead before eventually winning 7-3 in Regina. Like they have all season, it was a full-team effort from the Vees as Diego Johnson, Matteo Danis, Ryden Evers, Charlie Michaud and Jacob Kvasnicka all recorded multi-point nights.

Penticton has shown that good coaching and building a deep squad lead to success in the WHL. They sit at the top of the B.C. Division and are projected to take home the division crown this season. The Vees are currently on their East Division road trip and will play the Swift Current Broncos on Tuesday.
