When 2007 born prospects wake up June 15, it could be to the sound of a phone ringing, as the date marks the opening of a new NCAA recruiting period for the cohort.

Perhaps the prospect who will be receiving the most calls that day is Canadian Chloe Primerano who will undoubtedly receive full-ride offers from every school in the NCAA. She'll have her choice of schools as the top 2007 born player in Canada. The Vancouver Giants draft pick plays for RINK Academy, and could be a rare underage selection to Canada's U-18 roster this year.

Esso Cup standout Stryker Zablocki is another name to watch as the recruitment period opens. Blazing speed and an ability to make plays at top gear are attributes that will excite coaches. Esso Cup MVP Madison Burr is another 2007 forward who will have her phone ringing off the hook.

Dorothy CopettiMadison Campbell and Maxine Cimoroni in Ontario will be two of the many players from the OWHL U22 Elite loop who will be heavily recruited. Names to watch who played in the OWHL last season include Zoe Cliche, Lexie Bertelsen, Leila Ricciuti, Amelia Wilkinson, Riley Sorokan, Peyton Cormier, Jade Parnell, and Cheyenne Degeer.

Other Canadian's who will draw early interest include prospects like Sara Manness, London McDavid, Emelia McDermid, Emma MacIntyre, Kate Manness, Berlin Lolacher, Kolbee Ashe, and Shannon Pearson.

On the American side, there are several uncommitted players worth watching this summer. Forward Bella Fanale and defender Megan Healy both played at Bishop Kearney, and were both members of USA's U-18 national team last season.

Minnetonka goalie Ashlyn Hazlett will be a name to watch in net, as will skaters Ellie Dimatos, Nicole Gorbatenko, and Elle Sproule. Other Americans to watch include Quinn Taylor, Taylor Senecal, Macy Rasmussen, Ella Pukala, Sarah Powers, Rhianna Mayer, Ella Johnson, Iris Cheng, Caroline Averill, Josephine Skoogman, Madelyn Murphy, Courtney Little, Mackenzie Jones, Rachel Gorbatenko, Emilia Biotti, and Shayla Beaudette.
