However, even with how this season has gone for the Bruins, David Pastrnak has continued to thrive. In 74 games this season, the 2014 first-round pick has recorded 35 goals and 51 assists. Due to his strong play, he is inching closer to a big stat.
Pastrnak only needs to record four more points to hit the 90-point mark for the third season in a row and fourth time in his career. When noting that not a single other Bruin has recorded 50 points this season, Pastrnak being this close to 90 points is incredibly impressive. He has continued to dominate offensively, even with minimal support.
2 Boston Bruins Forwards Hit Waivers

This comes after the <a href="https://news.google.com/publications/CAAqBwgKMK-q0gsw7sXpAw/sections/CAQqEAgAKgcICjCvqtILMO7F6QMwluDfCA?hl=en-CA&gl=CA&ceid=CA%3Aen">Bruins </a>extended their losing streak to eight games in their March 29 matchup against the Detroit Red Wings.
The Bruins have eight games left this season, so Pastrnak has a good shot of hitting 90 points before it is over if he stays healthy. It will be interesting to see if he can do just that from here.
