At the 2025 NHL trade deadline, the Boston Bruins acquired prospect Will Zellers from the Colorado Avalanche as a part of the Charlie Coyle trade. With the Bruins needing to improve their prospect pool, bringing in a youngster with good promise like Zellers is certainly a step in the right direction.

Zellers has had an incredible season in the USHL with the Green Bay Gamblers and has now hit a big single-season milestone because of it. During the Gamblers' March 22 contest against the Muskegon Lumberjacks, Zellers scored his league-leading 40th goal in just his 45th game of the season. This is undoubtedly an impressive stat, especially with how quickly he achieved it.

However, Zellers did not cool off from there, as he then scored his 41st goal of the season against the Lumberjacks on March 23. With this, the 5-foot-10 winger now has 12 goals and 20 points over his last 16 contests.

It is hard not to feel some excitement about Zellers' future with the Bruins. The young forward is continuing to dominate at the USHL, and it will be fascinating to see what he can do at the NCAA level next season with the University of North Dakota.
