Let's discuss three clubs who could be serious suitors for Linus Ullmark this summer.

Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark is one of the NHL's top trade candidates heading into the 2024 NHL Offseason. When noting that he is entering the final season of his deal, and Jeremy Swayman undoubtedly stole the starting job during the playoffs, now feels like the perfect time for the Bruins to move him.

Ullmark is already generating interest around the league, and it is understandable. He's a former Vezina Trophy winner who is coming off a strong 2023-24 campaign. Let's discuss three teams who could land the veteran now.
The New Jersey Devils have Ullmark as one of the top goalies on their wishlist right now. It is understandable, as they desperately need a true No. 1 goalie if they hope to get things back on track after their poor 2023-24 season. Bringing in a star like Ullmark would help things on that front.

The Devils also stand out as an appealing potential trade partner for the Bruins. GM Tom Fitzgerald had made it clear that he is open to moving the 10th overall pick in this year's draft to land a star goalie. In addition, the Devils also have an intriguing target in Dawson Mercer who could grab the Bruins' attention if they would prefer immediate help.
The Bruins and Hurricanes discussed an Ullmark trade nearing the deadline, and it would not be surprising if that carried over to the offseason. After another disappointing postseason, the Hurricanes are expected to search for an upgrade between the pipes. Ullmark would give them that.

The Hurricanes have a big-time target for the Bruins to pursue in Martin Necas. They are one of the several clubs with reported interest in the skilled winger, so there could be a hockey trade to be had between the B's and Canes.
While trading within the division would come with some serious risk, the Ottawa Senators should be watched very closely in the Ullmark sweepstakes. The Senators were reportedly interested in Ullmark leading up to the deadline. Given how poorly their goaltending was this season, it feels inevitable that they will pursue Ullmark again.

The Senators are also shopping Jakob Chychrun, a player who Bruins GM Don Sweeney has targeted in the past. With the Bruins potentially losing both Matt Grzelcyk and Derek Forbort this summer, they could certainly use a player like Chychrun in their top four. Thus, the division rivals could work nicely as a trading partners.
