Matthew Tkachuk threw a dirty hit, and the Bruins made him pay.
The Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers have formed a big rivalry, with last season's playoff round playing a massive role in it. This afternoon's game (April 6) between the two clubs has shown more of their hatred for each other, as it has been an immensely physical contest.
Panthers star forward Matthew Tkachuk has been causing plenty of chaos, which is always expected given his very chippy style of play. However, he took it too far with a very dirty play.

Tkachuk, 26, hit Bruins defenseman Parker Wotherspoon from behind when the latter did not have a puck. That led the ESPN broadcasters to wonder if he would receive a five-minute major for boarding. Instead, Tkachuk was given a two-minute minor for interference, much to the dissatisfaction of Bruins fans.
While the Bruins only got a two-minute power play for Tkachuk's cheap shot on Wotherspoon, it was more than enough time to make him pay. Charlie Coyle scored on the man advantage after receiving a perfect feed from captain Brad Marchand.
That was the perfect way for the Bruins to respond after that dirty play by Tkachuk.
