The Bruins are reportedly among the suitors for this Wild forward.
It is the season of trade rumors, as the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline is less than a week away. The Boston Bruins have been causing quite the chatter in the rumor mill, as they have been connected to several players.
It appears that the Bruins have a new player on their radar, too, as The Fourth Period's latest Trade Watch List reported that the Original Six club is one of six teams linked to Minnesota Wild winger Brandon Duhaime. TFP also noted that the Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Edmonton Oilers, and Winnipeg Jets are all in on Duhaime.
Duhaime, 26, is a pending UFA who would be a solid addition to the Bruins' fourth line if acquired. While he is not necessarily known for his offensive contributions, he is quite impactful when it comes to his physicality and defensive play. Thus, he is a player that the Bruins could use right now, especially when noting that they are looking for more bite.
Duhaime has appeared in 60 games this season for the Wild, where he has four goals, eight points, 155 hits, and 66 penalty minutes.
