The Boston Bruins are back on the ice on Tuesday (Oct. 22) to face off against the Nashville Predators. Based on their morning skate, their lineup could look incredibly different against the Predators.

The Bruins moved Brad Marchand up to the first line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak. With this, Pavel Zacha was dropped to the third line with Matthew Poitras and Morgan Geekie.

The Bruins once again tried out a new trio for the second line, as Max Jones skated with Charlie Coyle and Trent Frederic. This is a significant opportunity for Jones, as the 6-foot-3 winger has primarily been scratched this season, playing in just two games.

The Bruins also made some notable changes on their blueline. Hampus Lindholm skated with Charlie McAvoy on the top pairing, while Nikita Zadorov was dropped to the second pairing with Brandon Carlo. Mason Lohrei and Andrew Peeke once again skated on the bottom pairing.

It will now be very interesting to see if Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery officially ends up rolling with these lines against the Predators. There is no question that they are incredibly different.
