The Boston Bruins need this forward to bounce back from his slow start.

The Hockey News Big Show - Jeremy Swayman Contract

Boston Bruins forward Charlie Coyle proved he can be a solid second-line center this past season. In 82 games, he posted new career highs with 25 goals and 60 points. Overall, it was a great year for the Weymouth, Massachusetts native.

However, Coyle has had a tough start to the 2024-25 season thus far. In six games, he has just one goal to go along with a minus-5 rating. The 6-foot-3 forward has struggled, and the Bruins need him to break through his cold streak if they hope to find more success this campaign.

The Bruins' second line has had a rough start to the season, which has not helped Coyle either.

However, given that Coyle hit the 25-goal and 60-point marks this past season, there is no question that he can heat back up. He is also in a position to succeed, as he has a spot in both the Bruins' top six and on their power play.

It will be fascinating to see how Coyle responds to his slow start to the season. Sometimes, players need some time to shake off the rust.
