The Boston Bruins have had their struggles this season. At this point of the campaign, they have a 10-9-3 record and a notable minus-19 goal differential.
One of the Bruins' biggest difficulties this season has been their ability to produce offense. They are feeling the losses of forwards like Jake DeBrusk, Danton Heinen, and, I would argue, even James van Riemsdyk (38 points in 71 games last season).
However, one Bruins forward who has quietly been providing some offense is Justin Brazeau.
Justin BrazeauBrazeau is currently third on the team in goals with five and fourth in points with nine. With this, he currently has more points than notable Bruins like Pavel Zacha, Charlie McAvoy, Trent Frederic, and Charlie Coyle.
In addition, Brazeau has been trending in the right direction as of late, posting two points in his last three games. He also has six points in his last 11 games, so he has been providing Boston with decent offensive production after a bit of a shaky start to the year.
It will now be interesting to see what Brazeau does from here. If he keeps this play up, he could be one of the Bruins' top scorers by the end of the season.
