The Boston Bruins have signed prospect defenseman Loke Johansson to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Johansson, 18, was selected by the Bruins with the 186th overall pick of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

Johansson is currently playing for the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL, where he has one goal, four assists, 16 penalty minutes, and a plus-9 rating in 15 games.

Johansson is an interesting prospect in the Bruins' system. The 6-foot-3 left-shot defender is known for his physical style of play and strong play in his own zone. However, he also can produce a bit offensively from the point, as he had 13 points in 33 games with AIK's U20 team this past season.
