The Boston Bruins will face the Calgary Flames on Thursday night (Nov. 7). The Original Six club will look to bounce back after losing to the Toronto Maple Leafs by a 4-0 score on Tuesday (Oct. 5).

Let's discuss three specific Bruins players who fans should watch extra closely against the Flames now.

    David Pastrnak

After being benched for the third period against the Seattle Kraken, David Pastrnak had another shaky game against the Maple Leafs. He notably took a penalty that led to a Maple Leafs' power-play goal.

Pastrnak will now look to have that much-needed bounce-back game against the Flames.

    Tyler Johnson

Tyler Johnson had a quiet debut for the Bruins against the Maple Leafs. The veteran forward had one shot in 13:51 of ice time. With this being his first regular-season game of the year, he naturally had some rust to shake off.

Johnson will now look to put together a big performance against the Flames in his first time playing as a Bruin at TD Garden.

    Elias Lindholm

Elias Lindholm is undoubtedly a player to watch for this matchup, as he spent six seasons as a Flame. Now, he will look to burn his former team as a Bruin.

Lindholm has also been feeling it as of late, posting three assists over his last four games. Let's see if he can get on the scoresheet against Calgary.
