EA Sports recently released their Top 10 ratings at the right wing position for NHL 25. Without much surprise, Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak received a very high rating for the upcoming game.
In NHL 25, Pastrnak will have a 95 rating, tying him with the Tampa Bay Lightning's Nikita Kucherov as the highest-rated right winger in the game. In addition, EA Sports revealed that Pastrnak is the seventh-best player in the game.
This rating is entirely justifiable, given how dominant Pastrnak was last season with the Bruins. The 28-year-old was once again one of the NHL's top players, posting 47 goals, 110 points, and a plus-21 rating. He also took his playmaking skills to a new level, recording a career-high 63 assists on the season.
Pastrnak's marvelous over the last several seasons also warrants his high ranking. For example, during the 2022-23 season, he set career highs with 61 goals and 113 points in 82 games. Not too many players in the NHL can produce similar totals like that, so Pastrnak is easily among the league's most elite players.
It will now be interesting to see what kind of season Pastrnak has for the Bruins in 2024-25. Now that he has a new first-line center in Elias Lindholm, we could very well see his offense go up even more this campaign.
