The Boston Bruins may be underperforming this season, but forward Morgan Geekie certainly is not. After a slow start to the season, the 26-year-old forward has been excellent for the Bruins since. He is also having the best stretch of his season right now, posting nine goals and 12 points over his last 14 games.

Geekie's hot streak continued in the Bruins' Feb. 22 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks, as he scored the game-tying goal late in the third period. With this, he has officially set a new career high with 18 goals in 53 games played this season.

This is the second consecutive season that Geekie has set a new career high in goals. He broke out this past season with Boston, posting 17 goals, 22 assists, and 39 points in 76 games. With the way he is playing right now, he is well on his way to hitting another new career high in points before the season is over.

Overall, in what has been a poor season for the Bruins, Geekie has been taking his game to another new level. It will be fascinating to see how many goals he finishes the season with.
