Joe Sacco switched up the club's defense pairings during his first practice as the Bruins' head coach.
New Boston Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco led his first practice after landing the job on Wednesday (Nov. 20). During it, he made some changes to the Bruins' defensive pairings.
The Bruins' first pairing consisted of Mason Lohrei and Charlie McAvoy. Lohrei has spent time with McAvoy in the past and is now getting another shot with the Bruins' No. 1 defender.

After being scratched against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Parker Wotherspoon skated on the second pairing with Brandon Carlo. Wotherspoon has played in 10 games this season, where he has zero points and 13 hits.
As for the third pairing, Nikita Zadorov and Andrew Peeke were once again together. Jordan Oesterle, who had 16:53 of ice time against Columbus, was the extra defenseman at practice.
