The New Jersey Devils have announced that former Boston Bruins forward Curtis Lazar will be out indefinitely after having a knee procedure.
This is certainly tough news for the Devils, as Lazar is a crucial part of their bottom six. He thrived this past season with New Jersey, as he had seven goals and set new career highs with 18 assists and 25 points. In addition, he continued to make an impact physically, recording 179 hits.

Lazar had 10 goals, 20 points, 221 hits, and a minus-4 rating in 87 games over two seasons with the Bruins. He also played in 17 post-season games with the Bruins, where he had one goal and one assist.
