The Bruins' latest loss to the Flyers is very concerning.

It was a bad night in Beantown, as the Boston Bruins fell to the Philadelphia Flyers by a 2-0 final score. This is concerning, especially when noting that the Flyers have had poor goaltending early on this campaign.

It was a terrible night for the Bruins' offense against the Flyers. They recorded just 23 shots against the Flyers and only three in the third period when they were down 1-0 for the majority of it.
The Bruins' power play was once again a non-factor. The Bruins failed to score a goal on four power-play chances and notably did not record a shot on two of them. They also were not successful when they had a 5-on-3.
It is no secret that the Bruins' offense and power play have been a cause of concern this season, but this matchup against the Flyers took it to a whole new level. At this juncture of the campaign, the offense should have shaken off the rust. However, things are not improving, and the Bruins are struggling big time because of it.

With this latest loss, the Bruins now have a 4-5-1 record and have won just one of their last five games. This is immensely concerning for a team expected to be a contender. Right now, they look far from being one.
