These former Sabres had big nights vs. the Bruins.

The Florida Panthers picked up a massive 6-1 win over the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night. With it, they have tied the series at 1-1 as they head north to Boston.
Two former Buffalo Sabres stars were major reasons for the Panthers' win in Game 2. Sam Reinhart was a playmaking machine in the matchup, posting four assists. Meanwhile, defenseman Brandon Montour dominated the scoresheet himself, recording a goal and two helpers.
Reinhart, 28, has three goals and seven points in seven games this postseason. He has had an incredible year and is only building on his case to land a massive payday this offseason.
As for Montour, the right-shot defenseman now has two goals and six points in seven playoff games for the Cats. Like Reinhart, he is also in a contract year, so his next deal should pay him handsomely.

It is clear that these two former Sabres are a massive part of the Panthers' success, and last night against the Bruins only proved this. Let's see how these two perform for the remainder of the playoffs.
