The 2024 NHL Offseason should be quite eventful for the Buffalo Sabres and the rest of the league. Each team will be making notable moves this summer, and we could see some big-name players get traded.

A former Sabre, Linus Ullmark, is certainly among the players to pay attention to in trade talks this offseason.

Ullmark, 30, has been nothing but sensational for the Bruins since his arrival during the 2021-22 season. While he has been excellent for Boston, there's no question that he is standing out as a top trade candidate this offseason. He reportedly blocked a trade at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, and Jeremy Swayman is clearly the Bruins' long-term answer between the pipes. With that, Ullmark will enter the final year of his deal in 2024-25.

Ullmark should generate a plethora of interest this offseason. The 2012 sixth-round pick had another fantastic regular season in 2023-24. In 40 appearances, he sported a 22-10-7 record, a 2.57 GAA, and a .915 SV%. Any NHL team would love that kind of goaltending from their starter.

We must pay attention to what happens with Ullmark from here, but a trade appears to be very likely. A few teams to watch include the New Jersey Devils, Colorado Avalanche, and Detroit Red Wings.
