The Sabres should eye these two players from the Jets in free agency.

The Buffalo Sabres should be in for a busy offseason. After missing the postseason for the 13th straight season, management is expected to be aggressive and look to add talent to their group.
Free agency is one route that the Sabres can use to strengthen their roster. Because of this, we here at The Hockey News Sabres will be looking at a few free agents from each club whom the Sabres should consider targeting. Let's start with the Winnipeg Jets.
The Sabres are expected to try to add a top-six winger this offseason. When looking at this year's free agency class, Tyler Toffoli is one of the best options available. The 31-year-old had another strong season in 2023-24, posting 33 goals and 55 points in 79 games split between the New Jersey Devils and Jets.

Toffoli would provide the Sabres with a much-needed and proven sniper for their top six and power play. He also could work quite nicely on a line with Tage Thompson.
Sean Monahan is another notable Jets pending UFA who would be a solid addition to the Sabres' roster. The Sabres are looking for help down the middle on their third line, and Monahan would be an excellent option.

Monahan, 29, had a fantastic season split between the Montreal Canadiens and Jets, recording 26 goals and 59 points in 83 games. It was the first time in many seasons that he stayed healthy, and he showed that he is still quite an impactful player. Thus, Buffalo should consider signing him.
