This Sabres star had a big night against the Devils.

Sabres Hoping Levi Has Deep Playoff Run In Rochester

It is not a secret that the Buffalo Sabres forward Tage Thompson has had a bit of a rough 2023-24 season. His offensive production is notably lower than last season, and he is only third on the team in points.

While it has been a tough campaign for Thompson, he is surely ending it on a high note. This was especially the case in the Sabres' 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils, as the star center had a four-goal game. He displayed last season's form, and that is immensely encouraging for the future.

Thompson, 26, simply dominated against the Devils and was easily the best player on the ice. When he plays like this, he is easily one of the top players in the sport, and now his goal will be to build off it for the remainder of the season.

Thompson has also been on fire lately, posting eight goals and 14 points over his last ten games. That is exactly the kind of production that the Sabres expect from the 6-foot-6 forward, and it will be intriguing to see if he can maintain it.
