It’s tough to win in hockey if you don’t operate as a team. Part of that is management acquiring the necessary players to do well in the regular season and make a deep playoff run.

Cody Ceci was one of the significant acquisitions this year. Between Miro Heiskanen’s injury, Nils Lundkvist’s shoulder surgery, and a few other ailments, the Stars haven’t had the cleanest bill of health.

Ceci continued his minute-munching ways after being traded from the Edmonton Oilers this past summer. Before coming to the Stars, he played in 54 games, recording 15 points while averaging 21:46 per game.

Once in Texas, he recorded nine points in 31 games. Ceci averaged 20:14 of ice time per game.
