Five games to have everyone on the team playing at the highest level they can. To have the entire roster playing a unified team game that makes them a legitimate Stanley Cup contender.
One forward who still needs to find their stride in the final stretch of the season is the much-talked-about Evander Kane.

While he has struggled a lot to produce at a consistent rate in his last 54 games - everyone knows the potential that he possesses. Especially when it comes to the playoffs, Kane can be a force to be reckoned with.
Two post seasons ago he put up his best playoff performance with the Oilers. In 15 games he had 13 goals and 17 total points. He also fired 57 shots on goal and threw a whopping 73 hits. That's an average of 4.87 hits per game.

That's part of what made his effort during last year's playoffs massively disappointing. In 12 games he only collected five points, 38 shots and 52 hits.
To be fair, his shooting percentage across both playoff runs are vastly different - with his inflated 22.8% shooting two post seasons ago more of an outlier than his 7.9% from last year's run.
Regardless of that, Kane needs to be more involved in games. He's at his best when he is all over the ice. That includes everything from shooting the puck, throwing massive hits, and letting opponents know what happens when you "f*** around and find out."
