One of the Edmonton Oilers best prospects scored a goal reminiscent of Evan Bouchard
EDMONTON -- The Bakersfield Condors are cooking with gas.
The Edmonton Oilers AHL affiliate is on a four game win streak - the latest win being a 4-1 win over the Abbotsford Canucks. They currently sit fifth in the AHL's Pacific Division (out of 10).

Lately they have received a boost from one of the Oilers top prospects - Philip Broberg.
Broberg is riding a four game point streak. He contributed a goal to that streak last night - that some may see as a goal one of the current Oilers defenseman scores on the regular.
Broberg collects a pass dished to him from the goal line, he takes a few steps along the blue line and snipes a wrist shot past the Canucks goalie.
That goal screams Evan Bouchard.

Broberg has offensive flashes - and this goal is a good example of that. This kind of offensive play combined with how well he has been doing defensively is only going to mean good things for the Swedish defenseman going forward.

Ultimately he wasn't traded at the deadline, but who knows what his future will hold. He is presently in the last year of his entry level contract with the team.
Whether it's with the Oilers or another organization, Broberg has an incredibly bright future in front of him.
