
The Iowa Wild announced today that they have re-signed forward Gavin Hain to a one-year, two-way deal.
Hain, 24, was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2018 NHL Draft but did not sign with the team. He decided to go back to College for his fifth season. The Minnesota native played in five seasons for the University of North Dakota.
He recorded 31 goals, 24 assists, and 55 points across 141 games for the Fighting Hawks. After his final season of College, Hain turned pro with the Wild. He started his career in the ECHL with the Iowa Heartlanders.
In six games for the Heartlanders, Hain notched two goals. He played in 47 AHL games with the Iowa Wild and recorded six goals and 10 points.
